Only 52 RHD Ferrari 365 GT 2+2’s

Originally ordered through Maranello Concessionaires in Egham Chassis 13765 was first owned by Mr. Gerald Thomas Burnham, a distinguished film producer. Its original factory specification is Oro Nashrullah over Pelle Tobacco interior. Mr Thomas owned Haven Films that were best known for Carry On Films and the BBC Drama Cathy Come Home where this Ferrari featured as a replacement for the original Jensen Interceptor.

In 1972, the car was sold to noted businessman and socialite William Shand Kydd who changed the colour to green.

By the early 1980’s the car had crossed the pond and spent time in California before returning to the UK and eventual sale at auction through Coys of Kensington. Now owned by a notable Ferrari collector this beautiful Ferrari is undergoing a complete bare metal restoration returning the car to its original factory specification.

The Ferrari 365 GT 2+2

The 1970 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 was Ferrari’s definitive grand tourer of the late 1960s and early 1970s — a car built not for the circuit, but for crossing Europe at speed in supreme comfort.
Beneath its long bonnet sits a 4.4-litre Colombo V12 producing around 320 horsepower, delivering effortless high-speed performance with the smooth, turbine-like character that defined Ferrari’s front-engined twelve-cylinder cars. Paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and power steering, it was engineered for relaxed yet rapid continental travel.

Styled by Pininfarina and built by Carrozzeria Scaglietti, the design reflected understated elegance rather than overt aggression. Clean lines, a wide stance, and a spacious glasshouse gives the car a commanding road presence.

Today, it stands as one of the marque’s most dignified and usable classic V12 Ferraris — a refined, understated expression of Maranello’s grand touring philosophy at its peak.
