A great day on two wheels
More than 40 riders rolled into Bell Sport & Classic for a day of bikes, cars and good company, put together with Matt Holmes and the Holmes Cycling networking team.
We got lucky with the weather. Sunshine, dry roads and a great route through the Chilterns made for pretty much ideal riding conditions.
There was a real mix of people and abilities in the group, which was exactly the point. Some serious riders, plenty of enthusiastic weekend cyclists and a lot of people who simply fancied a good ride and the chance to meet some interesting people along the way.
After a few hours on the bike, everyone headed back to Bell Sport & Classic for lunch, drinks and a chance to carry on the conversations that had started out on the road.
There was time to have a wander around the showrooms too, with the workshops open for anyone who wanted a closer look at some of the Ferraris currently being serviced and restored. Bikes and cars tend to attract a similar sort of person, so unsurprisingly there was plenty to talk about.
No presentations, no formal networking and no name badges. Just a really good group of people spending a day riding bikes, looking at cars and getting to know each other.
Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable day, and to all the partners who helped put it together:

Judging by the response, we might just have to do it all again…
