Bell Sport & Classic Ferrari Restoration department starts 2026 flat out
Bell Sport & Classic’s restoration department continues to be a hive of activity, with several exceptional Ferraris making impressive progress through the workshop. Among the highlights are not one but two Ferrari 275 GTBs. The first back with us for reassembly is a very rare (one of just 17) RHD Ferrari 275 GTB short nose, six-carburettor having had a complete concours level, bare-metal body restoration and is now presented in the original factory colour Rosso Cina. The second at 275 GTB four-cam which began its restoration journey with us last summer and is currently undergoing metal work to perfect the body while the engine and components are restored. As with all or our work, particular attention is being paid to originality, authenticity, finish and mechanical detail. Also with us a Ferrari 275 GTS, a Ferrari Dino 246 GTS that will complete its restoration in authentic Ferrari colour Bianco Polo Park and two cars to be finished in matching Ferrari gold paint “Oro Nasrullah” – a Ferrari 330 GT and Ferrari 365 GT.
One rather intriguing car also in with the restoration team is an extremely rare ASA 100 GT. This little know small sports car was developed in Maranello with Enzo Ferrari’s input and has a who’s who of Italian design icons involved in its creation – think body designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and built by Carrozzeria Bertone. The engine was designed by Carlo Chiti, who designed the Ferrari Columbo V-12 whilst the tubular frame was designed by Giotto Bizzarrini. Affectionately referred to as “La Ferrarina” or Little Ferrari only around 100 of the were made and just 20 are thought to exist today. This one is being fully restored to preserve its special place in Italian sports car history.
Each project demonstrates Bell Sport & Classic’s commitment to sympathetic, factory-correct restorations – the gallery offers a snapshot of these remarkable cars as they progress on their journey back to the road.
