2002 Ferrari 360 Spider 6spd Manual
The successor to the Ferrari 355 Berlinetta and the end of the wedge-shaped era came in the shape of the Ferrari 360 Modena. Introduced in 1998, this model came with many novelties such as an all new aluminium space frame chassis allowing the car to be 40% stiffer and 28% lighter than its predecessor.
An all new 3.6 litre flat plane V8 producing 400 PS was utilised on the platform. This resulted in a mesmerising crescendo under power. Offered with a 6-speed manual or an F1 electrohydraulic manual, the 360 can be used as a daily driver and doesn’t require the extremely costly engine out belt service like its predecessor.
In 2000, the 360 Spider was presented with a canvas roof stowed away when opened. Its electronic operation taking no longer then 20 seconds. The engine now singing a symphony when the roof is down and heightening the senses.
Our Ferrari 360 Spider was supplied new to Charles Hurst in 2002, in Giallo Modena with black leather upholstery as well as a gated 6 speed manual; since then having only had 3 previous keepers and covering just under 19,300 miles. Options include the rear challenge grill and the all-important Scuderia shields.
She has been serviced and pampered throughout her life regardless of cost, hence her immaculate condition. The cambelts have been replaced in June of 2017; the clutch and front lower ball joints also being replaced in January of 2018, along with 4 x recent new tyres.
