One of only 65 produced, Bell completed a full nut and bolt restoration of this 1965 DB5 to Vantage specification with a 4.2 litre engine capacity, triple Weber 45DCOE carburettors, a fast road cam and a flowbench optimised head.
With only two previous owners prior to restoration and a mere 60,000 miles on the clock, the car represented a rock solid unmolested example.
The restored car features a newly trimmed interior using only the best Connolly hide and Wilton carpeting. Air conditioning was also be installed, along with a period radio for aesthetic appeal, but with modern internals.
The body was replaced with a new skin, once the chassis has been fully repaired, powder coated and internally Wax Oyled for maximum protection. The engine was rebuilt, fully balanced and blueprinted, with a fast road cam, improved oil cooler to retain pressure, ceramic coated exhaust manifold to keep the engine compartment cool and the engine can be optimised on the flowbench and Dyno for the ultimate package in power and performance.
