2018/68 Lotus Evora GT430 (SOLD)

The Lotus Evora’s transformation from sports car to supercar is complete with this: the Lotus Evora GT430. Since taking over at Lotus in 2014, the then company boss Jean-Marc Gale oversaw the program to incrementally improve the Evora, culminating in this all new  GT430 special.

The name suggests the GT430 has 20bhp more than the Sport 410 on which it is based, and it does. But it’s so much more than that; the GT half of the name actually gives more away. For this is in effect a road-going version of the GT4 race car, which is conveniently driven by Lotus chief engineer Gav Kershaw, the man who’s led this car’s development.

The GT430 is powered by an updated version of Lotus’s 3.5-litre supercharged V6, which produces 325b ft of torque from 4500rpm. Wider tyres help to put down all of its power, and Lotus claims that at full chat, 250kg of downforce is produced. With new & specifically designed body panels, featuring exposed carbon weave sections, front & rear, the GT430 generates upto 250 kg of downforce through advanced aerodynamics. Larger front apertures, a new carbon fibre splitter, air blades & louvres positioned on top of each front wheel arch clearly illustrate the supercar credentials of the Evora GT430 when viewed from any angle.

Bell Sport & Classic are delighted to offer this 1 owner (Lotus Factory) highly specified example, finished in Metallic Black, with newly designed carbon-backed Sparco seats & a unique dash trim. A lightweight carbon binnacle covers the instruments, along with carbon door sills. The steering wheel, dashboard, door panels, transmission tunnel & centre console are all trimmed in a combination of black alcantara & perforated leather. Lotus Ultra light Forged aluminium alloys, 19″ front & 20″ rears, with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tyres. Lightweight carbon fibre tailgate with integrated rear spoiler & louvered backlight.
