Supercar Driver – Goodwood

Even the weather couldn’t dampen our spirits!  Supercar Drivers’ season opener at Goodwood

Alongside our insurance partners First Point we opened the events season with Supercar Drivers’ epic Goodwood day on the 14th May.  Intermittent downpours added to the excitement as we ran our new Ferrari 488 Challenge car for the first time on track.  Our customers and Supercar Driver members all took to the track for sessions throughout the day interspersed with some incredible parades which gathered together some of the most exciting cars in the country including our own 330 LMB Project.

Impervious to the weather, legendary journalist Andrew Frankel took to the track in our 1959 Lister Costin to lap the famous Goodwood circuit for a forthcoming article in Motorsport magazine and was keeping up  cars 60 years its junior with ease as he skillfully navigated the often standing water.  Amongst the Lamborghinis, Koenigseggs and Porsches one particular small white Toyota GR Yaris stood out as it carved past car after car at hands of a talented (Bell customer) pilot!

Next up with Supercar Driver – Donington in August!
