Vehicle Description
1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Grigio Scuro (originally Argento Auteuil) with Nero leather and Dark Blue Scuro carpets, light grey roof lining, air-conditioning.
Imported by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd. on the 9th December 1970 and first registered on the plate EPF 24J
Previously owned by Lord Hesketh and then spending a period in Japan the car the next owner had the car restored and refinished in “Ferrari Grigio Scuro” while the interior was retrimmed - all parts and fittings used in the restoration were genuine Ferrari items supplied by Maranello Concessionaires. On the 21.02.1990 the car was registered to legendary blues guitarist and rock icon Eric Clapton who enjoyed the restored car in ‘his colours’ for the next decade, forming part of what was at the time a famous and substantial Ferrari collection.
This well preserved and highly desirable right hand drive, UK market Ferrari 365 GTB/4 comes with a detailed history and notable previous ownerships that would undoubtedly make it the centrepiece in any high profile Ferrari collection.
