Incredibly exclusive (only around 140 of these were made) and like nothing else on the road, the Morgan Aero SuperSports is the development of the Aero 8 and Aeromax. Taking design cues from both, being open-topped like the Aero 8 and as achingly good-looking as the Aeromax, it is a uniquely hand-built British masterpiece with the might of BMW behind it, the Aero Supersports being powered by their superb 4.8-litre V8.

With plenty of power (368 bhp) shifting not a great deal of weight, the Aero SuperSports lives up to its name. It is seriously rapid in a way that few cars are today. Morgan conservatively quotes a 0-60 mph time of 4 seconds and on to over 170 mph. There are no electronic “driver aids” to get in the way, it’s just you and your right foot making the decisions. Take the roof off to enjoy it more and get the most from the epic soundtrack.
