2016 Jaguar F-Type Project 7 (SOLD)

The Jaguar Project 7, a speedster concept born out a doodle of what a single-seat F-type could look like. It’s the creation of Cesar Pieri, who’s only been a designer at Jaguar for 12 months. Project 7 is a one-off special based on a regular F-Type V8 Supercharger, and got its world premiere at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Destined to remain a concept car, there was no price tag to even consider.

This is the most powerful road Jaguar yet, hand-built at the company’s Special Vehicle Operations division and thus fitted with all the top-end running gear: eight-speed Quickshift transmission, electronic differential, carbon-ceramic brakes, unique-tune adaptive dampers and its own special settings for engine management and chassis stability control.

On the open road,  the Project 7 is hugely fast & accurate, plenty quick enough to separate the really quick drivers from the ordinary, largely because of the speed at which it arrives at the next corner. The engine’s huge mid-range lets you add speed on the most ridiculously short straights, secure in the knowledge that the big carbon-ceramic discs will wash it away even more quickly. As Newsome promised, the car’s party trick is its supreme stability and grip when plunging at 130mph-plus into braking areas for 50mph bends, followed by an almost uncanny ability, for a big car, to turn neatly and fast, right up against the limit.

Bell Sport & Classic are privileged to offer this super special 2016 example, finished in Ultimate Black, with full black leather throughout. Fitted with the optional 20″ Storm satin black polished alloys, Ceramic brakes, 4 point racing harnesses, Alcantara steering wheel, Decals…. with only 1,500 miles from new, this special edition Jaguar  is a must for any serious collector.
