Bell Sport & Classic’s purpose-built facility in Hertfordshire is just north of St Albans in the leafy village of Markyate.
Behind our discrete gated entrance, we have sales, service and restoration facilities with 10 ramps across three Ferrari workshops, a dedicated engine room and a separate machine shop.
Our technical team are ex-Ferrari main dealer factory trained or developed through our apprentice and in-house schemes supported by the senior team and deliver the highest quality of work.
From the iconic cars of the 90s (a particular specialism of Bell Sport & Classic) through to the most recent models, the team’s experience gained in the official Ferrari franchised network and our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment ensures we are best placed to look after your Ferrari.
Since 2011, all new Ferraris have been supplied with a 7-year service plan. As successive models are released from the ties of the Ferrari Service Plan (this now includes 458, F12, GTC4Lusso, Portofino and 812) and with retail labour rates in the Ferrari dealer network exceeding £300/hour, a lot of owners transition from the main dealer network to an expert Ferrari specialist.
We adhere to the official Ferrari time-based service guidelines which are typically annual services with extras at 2- and 4-year intervals. During a service we use the Ferrari manufacturer schedule with anything else noted and advised on. We use official diagnostic equipment and recognised parts carrying a 12-month warranty.

We completely understand and appreciate that you might want to maintain a perfect “official dealer stamped” service history in your service book.
In this instance we offer a cost-effective solution for all other work that is often diagnosed or suggested during visits to the main dealer.
For example, items such as brake fluid, auxiliary belts, gearbox oils, spark plugs, etc. all require replacement according to the schedules but aren’t a part of a main dealer standard annual service.
Our team can deliver this work at a fraction of the cost of the main dealer to the same high standards.
We regularly carry out non-routine service-related work on cars that are still covered by the Ferrari Service plan.
Whilst the service plan covers all scheduled / routine servicing, you are free to take all non-service work to a specialist without and benefit from the same level of technical expertise but at a fraction of the cost.
Main dealer servicing often produces an extra “additional work” list of items diagnosed or noted during the service check but not covered in the service plan. We know that you want to enjoy the car in the peace of mind that it is safe and operating at its best but at the same time you don’t necessarily want to simply replace every part because a schedule designed for the new cars and main dealer profitability says so. Our team know what to do and, as importantly, what can be left for another day.

We can also provide transportation and in-event technical support as part of our tailored concours packages meaning that all you need do is arrive and enjoy the event.
Our team has a vast collected knowledge of the Ferrari marque; that means we can carry out accurate assessments and deliver all forms of overhaul/recommissioning programmes covering the mechanical and cosmetic.
To inject new life into your car, we can carry out comprehensive engine, gearbox, suspension and drivetrain recommissioning whilst also using our experience of each model to appropriately check and replace key elements of braking, exhaust, fuel and ignition systems that, combined, will rejuvenate your car’s drivability and performance.

To ensure that what you are buying is as described and to avoid any unexpected occurrences during your life with the car, it is advisable to have a pre-purchase inspection carried out. Our team offers the facility to have a detailed inspection and report on your potential purchase at our facility or on location.
Our on-site detailing service offers a range of options for the cleaning, cleansing and enhancement of your vehicle’s appearance both inside and out.
We offer benchmark vehicle storage supported by the Bell Sport & Classic technical team in an ultra-secure and discrete facility 20 minutes north of London just off the M1 providing easy and fast access.
